How to operate
- Securely mount the chiller and connect it to a suitable liquid CO₂ cylinder.
- Open the CO₂ cylinder valve according to the cylinder and regulator instructions.
- Hold a clean glass beneath the chiller head.
- Gently press the head downward for a few seconds; around 5 seconds typically produces a strong frost effect.
- Pour and serve promptly.
- Close the cylinder valve and disconnect the system when it will not be used for an extended period.

Liquid CO₂ supply
The unit must be supplied with LIQUID CO₂, not simply a generic gas connection. Cylinder type, valve, regulator and hose setup must be appropriate for liquid CO₂ service and local regulations.
CO₂ can displace oxygen in poorly ventilated spaces. Use and store cylinders according to supplier instructions, local gas-safety requirements and good ventilation practice. Secure cylinders against falling and regularly inspect hoses and connections.
Hygiene note
Rapid chilling improves presentation, but it does not replace proper washing, sanitising or a validated hygiene process. Glasses should already be properly cleaned before chilling.
